Slow Downloads

Ok, so i let downloads just go by themselves, right? Then I come back to check and i see "waiting 2780s to reconnect...?" Um, what the ****? Why does it take SOOOOOO long to try and reconnect? What happened to retrying every 30 or 60 seconds? I am using LimeWire Pro 2.3.3. I don't see any way to change this in the settings/preferences/tools etc.
