limewire vs limewire pro
 

hi All,

So, I'm sort of new to all this free music download business, but anyways, here's my question: From the reviews I've read, limewire seems to be a decent program for getting free music. However, I've been reading that there are programs that install along with it, and they tie up your CPU, and you get pop up ads. I don't want all that garbage, so I read that limewire pro, for 10 bucks, is free of bundled ad programs (spyware, I think people call them?).
So, what I want to know is whether this is really true. Is limewire pro ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY 100% free of any other programs? Because if it is, then heck I think it's worth spending 10 dollars, isn't it?

and, by the way, please state when you answer this thread whether you have bought limewire pro, and have WITNESSED WITH YOUR OWN EYES that it does or does not have other programs/ads install with it. because, sure, you can reply that it has no other programs install with it because that's what you've read or heard, but I would like PROOF of this from someone who has actually used limewire pro.

Yes, I have WITNESSED WITH MY OWN EYES that limewire pro is clean! And yes, I do think its worth the 10 bux. You can run ad-aware 100 times and use msconfig till yer blue in the face, but limewire pro is clear of all crap. And mighty slick lookin too.
