 Does v1.7 contain spyware? I've been using 1.7 for quite a long time, I'd guess a little over a year (which seems to be an eternity for P2P software loyalty, LOL). I was wondering, does it contain spyware? I've been using Ad-aware for even longer, and I run Ad-aware daily, sometimes several times a day, and it has never detected spyware associated with my install of Limewire. I seem to recall during installation of 1.7 that I was prompted to install Dot Net, but I chose no. Does that mean that as far as Limewire is concerned that I'm spyware free?  |
