What is going on at LimeWire?

Greg Bildson sent this message to one of the LimeWire developer mailing lists, and since some of you complained that you wanted to know about LimeWire's development efforts, I thought I'd forward it to this forum.

+ Our web developer was on vacation for a few weeks.
+ Susheel just finished new browse host code and I believe he is looking at
solving some startup speed problems.
+ Sumeet just merged new parallel download initiation code to the mainline.
+ Adam has turned the HUGE branch into one of the great masterpieces of
computer
science. (Kidding Adam). He also added the uploader side of download
meshes.
+ Chris has been helping out various folks, rewriting HostCatcher and
working on distributed connects.
+ I am just now getting back to some coding (after last adding that IE
component)
and I am looking at the downloader side of the download mesh.
+ We are finally merging a bunch of important branches to the mainline and
doing
some debugging.
+ We are in the process of creating a test package - moving tests to JUnit.
+ Adam has been automating international version builds. We really should
have this out the door soon.
+ We have also been discussing more fundamental Gnutella improvements
(with a few white-boards full of some ideas).

Sorry that we have not done a better job of communicating what's up. Chris
is now on vacation for 2 weeks so his distributed connect work will be
stalled till then.

You should see major merges being applied to the mainline starting last
Thursday.

Thanks
-greg
