hosts again
 

thank you for your reply. when i open limewire, it says i have 200-400 hosts. after 20 minutes or so it goes back down to 20-30. then i can find files and the files that i am down loading stop or slow down. what can i do to fix this and is there any other connection i can use or servers i can connect to to help out.....tks

I've tried removing Morpheus hosts, but they seem to have almost a total monopoly while Limewire ultrapeers seem to be very few and far between. I now find it almost impossible to achieve all LW ultrapeers unless I spend a long time sitting there clicking remove.

Why is it limewire reports a ? in the hosts field when connected as a client ... displays a number when connected as an ultrapeer but aqualime, qtella, and others report a number of hosts? Is it a problem with limewire or gnutella? Or, is the other software just reporting incorectly?
