Why I Like Limewire
 

Since the loss of Napster, and now the demise of WinMX (and we won't discuss BearUnShare), I am happy with LimeWire.

At first, I did not like what little control I thought I had over uploads, downloads, hosts, etc. I solved that problem by reading ALL the FAQ's for content.

Now I can block those obnoxious idiots who constantly submit crap under bogus titles, control uploads so everyone has a fair chance at my huge Napster generated library, easily resume downloads if my system crashes, and I enjoy the cooling lime slices on the opening screen...

Still, to balance all this good stuff, I do wish LimeWire had a user base as deep as Napster was -- music from the 20's, the 30's, etc. Lots of instrumental songs, big band sounds, etc.

I hope, given time, the lost Napsterrets will converge on LimeWire and make it another global program and community.

All in all, I think I have found a new home here -- just wish more music videos were out there from the earlier years.
