number of approximately kept up connections

the "number of approximately kept up connections" -function doesn't work...
I have entered 6 by default and when i start LW it opens only three of them...
and can you remove the ban to open more than 6 connections? it would give the availability to even find something...
or is this only possible in the pro version?

The LimeWire devs did that intentionally to force the user gently to use 3 connections.

It's no different in the PRO version either.

btw. whats the difference between LW and LW Pro beside the removed ads?

Because my ads are gone anyway, I dont know why or how I did it, i just left the file (limewirefolder)/lib/ads/ads.props open in Kate for a few hours or something and now the ads are gone... :P strange...

I changed my Speed to T3 or Higher and now I can open up to 12 Connections.. cool :P thanks
