Default Why Limewire and not another program?

Can you clear this up for me. When I do a search using Limewire am I only searching other Limewire users or am I connecting with people using other software also. If you have a link for me to read up on this it is appreciated

Thanks

you can be connecting to users of a range of other gnutella software such as: Shareaza, Gnucleus, Bearshare, Xolox, Morpheus etc

but - there is a 'preferencing' for Limewire thing also involved - need one of the developers though to give the details on how that works

Cheers, bad_vlad

LimeWire ultrapeers try to keep up two connections to other LimeWire ultrapeers at all times, that's all LimeWire is doing about preferencing.

Default shared folder/programs

When you search limewire you are only searching limewire, NOT.

Here is what they are doing, "They" are useing many programs,Bearshare, gnuetella,Moprpheus, limewire,Ka zAA, ect., then "They" set all the programs so the SHARE the same folder for there "SHARED FOLDER" so the answer is no even though you are only searching limewre, you can still end up with other stuff. If you have any other Questions refer to me as the FORDGUY is your post.
