Default Problems with soundHis

Every download I receive from Limewire- every one- has this problem:
While I am playing the music (all audio files), it constantly cuts out to the point that it is not even enjoyable to listen to the music.

I am wondering:
1) Why does this occur?
2) How can I prevent/correct the problem?
3) Will the problem continue if I burn it onto CDs?
4) Is it my sound card, a problem with the people I downlaoded it from (Highly unlikely considering it occurs on eveyr single file), or simply a problem with Limewire itself?

Thanks,
AncalagoN

What player are you using? - the only time I've experienced anything like you're describing is the times I've tried using the Limewire player - I use Jet Audio from www.cowon.com and never have problems (the new Winamp is also prety good)

just one thing though - jet audio is excellent but the free version is adware so if you don't like a banner ad you're beter off going to winamp (or some oher player - if you do a google search for "free mp3 player software" you'll find heaps to choose from - the quality is variable however with some not being very good at all - if you use the size of the program as a rough guide with "bigger is better" in mind you'll probably avoid the worst ones

also - the banner ad (for my version of jet audio anyway) only actually works about once every six months so its not intrusive at all - but I appreciate that some folks are violently opposed to advertising funded software

good luck bad_vlad

yes I agree - but in my defence - anyone going to the site would immediately see the 'free' version was adware

gotta say though that I'd still rather have jet audio with a mostly greyed out banner than the small clean players and I've spent way too much time checking out 'the latest/coolest thing' - apart from anything else (and it has heaps of features) I really like the way it manages high bit rate files - I quite like the new (clean) winamp but for files @320 it just dosn't match jet audio

on the more general issue of spyware - if you visit http://www.****microsoft.com/content...en-files.shtml you'll see that worrying about what adware tracks is utterly irrelivent compared with what microsoft is already doing via its hidden files embedded deep in the OS
