Anyone know what this is. It comes up on all my searches. I'm starting to think I have been tagged ?

Actually, what they're referring to is in the subject - or at least that's the way I see it - the automatically generated redirectors (or whatever they are, I've not actually extracted or looked at them:

!!_YEEHAA_!!_search-term.exe
!!_YEEHAA_!!_search-term.rar
!!_YEEHAA_!!_search-term.zip

Talking yeehaa.1

So are you guys telling me that this will direct me to the file I am searching for, or are they just directs to junk " spam" etc.

I have never opened one I just assumed that they were virus files since at there current size could not possibly be the correct file. but if they are links to ftp sites or web pages with the same, that would be nice to know.......

How about some more info guy/girls and being from california for a few years now BOTH..

Thanks in advance.....

As I said, I've never opened one. However, if I were to guess, I'd say that they'd forward you to a porn site or something.

It looked that way on your post, not so much on bobomon's. This is a running question on other forums I visit. When do you tell a person to do a search? My view is that considering the circumstances, actually answering it is better, at least in this case (note that these are just general comments, not specifically addressed to Peerless or bobomon):

1. They're unregistered, so probably (although not guaranteed) to be new to the forum. If you want them to search, give them a hint. Humorous or sarcastic comments can frustrate people and keep them from wanting to assist someone else in the future.

2. The board isn't overloaded with queries on this particular subject ("yeehaa"). I understand how annoying it can be to answer the same question over and over, but that isn't the case here.,

3. Along the same lines, compared to other threads on SPAM. I get 1 result back on it. Now, considering there are innumerable other posts on SPAM, a neophyte might take that to mean that yeehaa is not related to SPAM, if they'd just been browsing the SPAM threads and didn't actually perform a search.

Yes, I know, I've seen enough instances of both of you having answered the same question numerous times.

I get it now... when I read it I did not connect the Yeehaa with that subject at hand... the later posting clarified it so that I saw what the orignal post meant... I , myself, have a filter st up for any !! that shows up in a search result. - Of course I never meant to be mean spirited... just a touch of humor
