what player do i need to play avi files? I am running windows XP home.

LeeWare is a great assister to others; your light through the dark tunnel
Lightbulb Player Needed for AVI files
Windows Media Player will play the files and if it is not already installed on your system when you attempt to run the file if it requres the latest version it will attempt to download or upgrade the version you have on your system.

I think the Windows Media Player comes bundled with your OS software.
