Sharing folders AND subfolders I just downloaded and ran the setup for LimeWire 2.7.3 but am having trouble setting up my shared folders. I have several folders which I would like to share, however they all also have several subfolders which I also want to share. Every time I select the main folder, only that folder and one sub-folder is shown in my library. Do I have to selece EACH subfolder in order to share it? |

Takes too Long....Sharing 41,000 files It seems every time I start Limewire it has to reindex all the shared files (41,000). Is there a way that I can have it use the previously created indexes. The problem is that, if I am sharing a very large set of data, I will have to suffer the waste of my computing resources re-indexing my shares, every time I start Limewire. Can this be done on demand, instead of automagically (slwo and wastefully)? -dch Last edited by dcharlequin; November 13th, 2002 at 12:23 AM. |

You need to let it finish. It takes a long time. I run LimeWire and then go to: File > Disconnect and let it do its thing. Once it's done, you won't have the problem anymore. They load in a few seconds now. (+650 files) |
