black screen on movies

It seem's that anytime i DL a movie here all i get is a black screen and no audio,i have all the lastest codec's but nothing!! I just got [edit] ,200 megs first part but nothing...my brother in the past has had the same problem....any ideas???

What is your windows version?

And what lastest codec's do you have?

Is this all your files or just selected ones?

Are you trying to play these file with window media player? or another player by default with the program?

Fake files do happen with the RIAA and MPAA trying to hurt filesharing all together, this will happen, if you remember the IP/Host of these files just remember or right them down and block them.
