how to move/copy file to another player? I'm a new user. How do I move the files i downloaded to another player. like windows media player. I tryed to click and drag them but itjust wont do it. I have to go into file search and find the file then move it to player. Is there an easier way? Next question if I start a download and then kill it is there a file created on my computer? From what ive seen it does. I then have to go and search to find it and manualy remove it. Is there a better way? HELP!! |
I believe Windows Media Player has an option to set it as your default player. That may fix it. You can delete files through LimeWire. Go to "Library" and click on the incomplete folder. You can click on a file and delete it. Be careful not to do this with the Shared Folders. If you delete any of those in LimeWire, it deletes it from your Hard Drive. No going to the trash first. Just gone! Hope this helps. |
thanks Thanks, that does help and I did figure out how to move files more easily, I created an icon on my desktop for the folder where the files are downloaded. I just drag them from there. It also helps for uploading. in the options there is a setting for remove incomplete files after X number of days. will this feature remove the incomplete from my hard drive also? I hope so. :) :) |
