Default Please Share -awesome 378kb

I tryed filtering out using 38.144.198.150 and even posted trhat it had worked -only 3 clean searches -before it returned.

- any senior advice as what to do -
Likewise any file at 378 kb seems bogus -appears on almost every search this past week. Any help out there -would be appreciated

You will just have to keep filtering addresses. There's more than one. Look at the actual files that show up and filter the IP addresses that you see.

If you keep doing it, eventually you won't see them anymore. (Hopefully!)

sorry to hear that, deda. I added the same address to the block list yesterday. I would advise using the keyword filter. add "AV Checked", "The real thing", "full webinstaller", "awesome", "please share". All of these decriptions seem to be part of the problem files. Hopefully someone at LW will come up with a better altenative.

Lightbulb Limewire upgrade ??

I would like to see an easy click on a host in the search screen to "ADD HOST TO BLOCKED IP LIST" I have a list of dozens of jerks who share trojans/virus files, or the same file with 300 different names to try and get as many hits as possible. Bad thing is, all these guys seem to have GREAT connection speeds, so downloads are easy of the crap. Why would they want to waste bandwidth to be jerks??? Anyway, I have blocked several entire segments I kept getting crap from. 64.124.130.* and 66.118.*.* (decided to get all in the subnet) Maybe we need to post a thread with bad IP addresses listed ???
