Hi, I am new to limewire. When I try to play a song, why does my Windows Media Player open to play it? I thought it should play in the limewire screen.

You're still used to Napster, aren't you? That had an internal media player, gnutella servents don't. With me it opens up in Winamp. Its not that different, except for the fact that you need an extra window opened.

That actually means you have windows media player programmed by default as what you want to play mp3's with. I don't have wmp so I couldn't tell you exactly how to change that though, probably hidden somewhere in the deepest depths inside the options menu knowing microsoft....

when i installed winamp, it gave me the option to make it the default player. thats all you need to do or such.
