![]() This may sound like a strange question, but I'm wondering how many simultaneous uploads people have their program set to. I'm using a DSL connection with an allowance of 10 uploads (3 per person). By far, more files are uploaded from my system than I download from other people (by about 8 or 10 times) -- even when I'm actively seeking out desired downloads. Admittedly, the increasingly irritating users who try and download every file I'm sharing at once don't really help this situation. I'm just wondering if I've set my uploads to go 'above and beyond the call of duty', or if this disparity happens to most users. Also, I'm assuming that it's normal to leave the 'upload bandwidth' slider at an even 50%. Is this correct, or do most people crank that down in a fit of selfishness? Thanks for any input. |
