Can not download May I ask. When this message pops up (More frequently than I like to see) is this the final answer? If I just leave this in the download section without terminating the download, will it (if possible) automatically attempt to download the file, or is it now just a dead trojan just sitting there awaiting an action on my part. I realize this replaced another prompt concerning requests, and the message on the "can not download" does say "awaiting more resources" which prompts this question. Dennis |

Cannot? Hi This usually means that the host is not allowing uploads, has too little bandwidth available or already has the full crew of downloaders and queuers in place. Only in the last situation is it worth trying again later. The first two are the more common (there are a lot of freeloaders around who only want to take and not give) so mostly there is nothing that can be done except keep the desired tracks on your want list and keep trying. Sonner or later an alternative source will turn up unless what you seek is excessively rare. Last edited by David91; May 6th, 2003 at 11:39 AM. |
