![]() I'm in the search option of Limewire and in the search command I type in the name of a musician. At that point the lime on the right side of the screen starts to spin stays that way for the next 20 seconds. The problem is that after that point there are no results!! I've tried different artists and still Limewire won't produce any results. If you anything that solve this problem, I'd be happy to know the solution. |

![]() -- First, of all, this may sound stupid to some people, but make sure you are connected. When I first got LimeWire, I just tried to search right off the bat without even connecting. If you are connected, make sure you have a least a terabyte of data, or you probably won't find anything. If you're in a university or some 'place', they might be blocking the primary Gnutella port. In that case, you'll have to switch to another port (try 8080). Alternate ports usally don't have much on them, however. Then you'll have to wait for the entire GNet to get some sense in them and switch to the Aim port so the RIAA and the MPAA can't threaten ISPs that if they don't block port 6346, even without court permission, they will kill the family of the owner of the ISP, so we have to switch to the Aim port because it doesn't have too much other traffic and also if they block it, then the people who use Aim will be really mad and sue and HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!. (Whew) Anyway, also, try connecting to these -router.limewire.com:6346 -gnutellahosts.com:6346 -gnutella.hostscache.com:6346 ![]() ______ ![]() |
