Annotate folder? Was wondering why limewire doesnt offer annotate for folders instead of being forced to annotate each file inside the folder thats being shared. ie. give an album/artist/comment for a folder which would give that information to all the items inside the shared folder. I understand its dificult to read id3 tags, but this would at least be easier for some of us itunes users to make our shared documents more user friendly. |
Limewire cannot do this, but itunes can. So simply import you limewire downloads into itunes, and boom, you're organized. In fact, you can specify your shared and saved folders to be your itunes folder. |
i've already done this. I was wondering if limewire was ever going to allow us itunes users to share our files so that others could read them easier. So that a file called Dream, could appear as REM-Dream-in the attic . Or whatever in stead of just Dream . I alread have my itunes folder (some of the subfolders) shared, just was wondering if it would be easier to allow other views to get more info. without myself doing alot of effort. |
Oh. Yes, easy. http://www.malcolmadams.com/itunes/s...cripts07.shtml itunes is scriptable, and these scripts can change the titles of all the songs in your library to Artist-Song format or any format of your choosing by reading ID3 tags. |
