Annotate folder?

Was wondering why limewire doesnt offer annotate for folders instead of being forced to annotate each file inside the folder thats being shared.
ie. give an album/artist/comment for a folder which would give that information to all the items inside the shared folder.
I understand its dificult to read id3 tags, but this would at least be easier for some of us itunes users to make our shared documents more user friendly.
