Download Jar File?
 

Does anyone know about a downloadable JAR executable of the limewire. I wonder why Limewire site developers have left out that on their main download page.???

This would be extremely helpful to people (who know how to run java) having difficulties in installing LimeWire

I also suggest the limewire developers to use Sun's Java WebStart Technology for problem free installers.

It appears to be not that easy. LimeWire needs to register for a particular file type (*.pmf) as well as register an URL handler for the magnet: url type. Depending upon platform that might require an installer.

After few headbanging got my Limewire running in Multiboot system without reinstalling it
