can anyone help me stop Lime wire from auto opening on start up?

Goto your Start Menu -> Programs -> Startup and delete the LimeWire icon from it.

The 3.4.5 & 3.4.6 installer accidentally added it there -- we'll be releasing a new 3.4.7 that does not do that very shortly.
