 sharing files I am a new user and I would like to know how to make sure I am not sharing my entire hard drive and are only sharing files from the shared file. Thank You  |

 The bottom of the search pane beside the red or green button shows the total number of files you are sharing. In the library pane, all the files are listed. You can add or remove folders from that pane. By default, chunks of incomplete files are shared when you download them, but you can choose in the preferences to avoid that if it really bothers you. I haven't heard of anyone hurt by sharing chunks of a file though. Last edited by stief; September 15th, 2003 at 06:26 PM. |
