Default Save Directory option doesn't "stick"

In Lmewire Pro, I organized my drive and created a new directory for downloading to and sharing. Trouble is, in Options|Saving| Save Directory, the new directory just won't stick. When I leave Options and return, the same (now nonexistent) directory is back. What do I have to do to make my new shared/download directory stick?

Are you hitting "OK" or "Apply" or just closing the window? You must hit "OK" or "Apply".

Thanks for stating the obvious. My screen res was set so the OK, APPLY, CLOSE buttons were invisible with no elevator on the window. After switching to a lower resolution, voila!

I have tried most of the stuff on the forum, and nothing is bringing the *apply* button up for changing my options. i changed screen size and resolution, the window will not drag open further, the only thing i didnt try was changing the directory for options (seen something about it in another post)

i am running xp and have the newest limewire pro...

Are you using the 'windows theme' or another theme? (Go to View -> Apply Themes, and see which one has the checkmark next to it.)

So the Windows Theme has problems, eh? We'll look into that.

Thanks for the info.
