mwv video file becomes "Limewire document" on Mac I downloaded a video file using Limewire. It said the file type was mwv (maybe wmv, but anyway...) Now on my Mac it says the file type is "Limewire document" and if I open it, then Limewire is opened. I can't get the video to play. Did I get something that is made only for Windows? Can I get this to play on my Mac? |

Option 1: in osX, click once on the file and go to file/get info, under open with, choose an application (VLC or Windows media player). Quicken won't play wma file, VLC plays some, so does WMP, although there still are some files of that format which won't open under the Mac. Hope this helps. |
