![]() Pro gives you 6 months of upgrades (no refunds), as it says on the download page . After that, you need to renew (I'm on my 3rd). If you MUST have a legal opinion, you need a lawyer who knows the laws of your country, because the laws are changing. You've already had some sensible opinions, but if you need more, search these forums for "legal" and follow the links. Cheers |

![]() If you are a US citizen and you are downloading music, the simple answer is pretty much no, it is not legal. I know you could be downloading music performed by your fellow LimeWire file sharers, but how likely is that? Actually, the 2001 Napster decision pretty much clearly stated that downloading anything with a copywrite without the holders permission was illegal. Having used LimeWire for a while myself, here is what I decided to do: I went legal! Yup, for $10.00 a month, I can stream pretty much anything I want or download it to my computer (no more waiting forever to download one lousy song, I might add). For an additional amount, I can burn a song. I am not gonna say what service I use, because then people will just think I am promoting the site, but their are several legal pay sites out there for music. I say try one, you might like it! |
