![]() ok, if a file is copywrited, its illegal to download if its not copywrited, its ok to download. and limewire has an easy way to tell the difference. PLEASE, IF IM WRONG, SOMEONE TELL ME!!!! |

![]() Limewire does not have an easy way to tell the difference between copyrighted and non-copyrighted material. (In fact Limewire has NO way to tell the difference.) Determining if a file is copyrighted is an exercise in common sense. Chances are if you download a song that you know the artist/record label is trying to sell, then you are downloading a copyrighted song. Of course there are exceptions to this rule, but they are certainly not the norm. Jonathan |
