question I realize that in LimeWire, you can go to tools/options/view/autocomplete popups and uncheck the "enable autocompletion of text feilds" box, this will stop previous searches to pop up in the search bar. But as soon as you re-enable it, any searches that you have made will pop back up, in other words: they arnt deleted. This was, untill I tested closeing the program and opening it back up, which seemed to work, the search history was cleared/deleted. Now, my question is if there is any way to recover search history. Perhaps its saved in some backup log? thankyou. |
If you deleted it it's probably gone. Unless you made an intentional back-up copy of it. That is the .INI file I mean. deepblue |
FaNaTiK--I just searched the contents of my preferences folder, and no sign of my past searches. So, it looks like the terms are only stored in memory. |
ok, I see. Too bad, I remember looking for this file but I cant seem to remember the exact name. Oh well, thank you. |
