hi.iam new to this forum and to limewire.if this has been posted iam sorry i havent seen it.in the search box you can only see half of the file discription is there a way to get more info on the file i want to download.with mp3 i see that a popup comes up whene you move your mouse over the file but not other file types.eny help would be appreciated....................

Normally it is simply a matter of clicking on the edge of a field that has the heading for the column... Such as 'File Name'...

I hate trying to describe this in words !

There's a small vertical bar or separator between the various 'headings' up on the top, right ?

Click and hold on one of those and you should, normally, see a 'cross' appear... Slide it to the right to increase the area for the field displayed under the particular heading...

Sorry, I am not running LW, but this is common to almost all applications...

Clear as mud, huh ?

hi.ursula.what it looks like is your talking about making the viewing area wider?what i want is to be able to hold my mouse on a file and to be able to see a full discription of the file.like full name of the file and duration of the file.a box should pop up telling you all the details of the file rite now all you see is whats in the viewing area.and if the file only has the name you dont know if there is a serial with it or if there is a crack or if its a full file...................

Problem is, I am not running LW... I was under the impression that LW did what you want... As do quite a few other p2p clients, as of late...

Have to wait for someone else who is currently running LW to find out if there's a problem for you or that perhaps the feature does not exist or is not applicable to all file types...
