Need this cleared up
 

Is it or is it not legal to share on Limwire...in other words, with all this talk on the news about people being prosecuted, do I need to be worrying about being taken to court if I download some songs. I did pay for this program, does that make is legal or not?

Just wondering before I go crazy with downloading songs...

The software itself is legal (but I don't think it's because you paid for it).
The illegal aspect of file sharing depends highly on what you're sharing/downloading.
Now, since I'm no lawyer or anything, you should run a search in this forum with keywords such as "legal aspect".
