![]() Following the threads here I see some dissatisfaction with the way one must `upgrade' and pay every so often. I've been a pro user for only a few mnths so assumed an `upgrade' would be free... not. So I paid my $18 again and went thru the process. Here comes the cheese.... When I get done and ready to download... I get a message saying limewire is very sorry but they are experiencing a heavy server load... I'll have to wait for my download. Well no biggy really but shouldn't this information be available BEFORE the purchase? At least show some manners here, instead of being such chiselers. |

![]() Well This is your opinion on Limewire. Also for the "only had Limewire Pro for a couple months" If you only had it for a few months you could still upgrade to the latest full/beta Pro release for free. You get a personal download page which is active for 6 months. Your other problem...I've been using Limewire for over a year (I'm on my 3rd Pro Subscription currently) and have NEVER had any problem DOWNLOADING the program...there have been some mix ups with pro and basic which still **** me off but other then that there have been no problems I've experianced thus far.Maybe the devs could spread a little light on the subject on whether this is true ![]() |

![]() With a Pro Purchase you are entitled to six months of free upgrades from your personal download page. Only during our 3.8 initial release (back in mid February) did we experience a heavier than expected server load and asked people to come back shortly. Thanks, Adam Harris Business Developer Lime Wire, LLC. |
