Deleting Downloaded Files

I'm a new user to LimeWire and I'm sure if it's just me but I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. When I download files and they are in my library, if I don't want them anymore I click on it and press delete. However, about 90% of the time I will get a pop up saying the file cant be deleted because it may be in use by another application. So, I go to my Shared folder and delete it from there and sometimes that works but 90% of the time again I get the same popup saying it can't be deleted for the same reason. I can't find the files in any other application and it is very frustrating when I can't delete a file I don't want. Someone please help me with this problem if you think you can or have any idea as to how to help me. Thank You.
