Limewire, hmm!!

Limewire is the biggest load of crap ever. I have never tried a worse P2P software.

Kazaa, iMesh and Overnet beat the **** out of it.

Opensource applications are allways been crap. And Limewire proves this.

I will contunie to use Limewire to download music if it lets me with these stipud download messages.

Shame really, the gnutella network is the fastest i've found.

Hey thanks for shareing! LW is probably not working right because of your own ignorance, stupidity, and/or lazyness. If you would like to post some information that is actually useful, we could try to solve your problem.

Yeah, no problem, I would be glad to share (you spelt sharing worng!!! )

My problem is that there is never any download sources. Where as other P2P applications have.

And I stand correct the bit where I said the network is fast. It's gone actually slow. Also by using Limewire I have downloaded my first corrupt file.

There, solve that.

Yes it is a shortcoming in LW to find more sources... Right now you have to manually search for more sources (repeat searches) for some downloads to finish or keep great speed. But once you know how to deal with that, transfers are fast I have presently a feature request for LW 4.1 (I'll make a thread may 18) for dealing with requieries. We'll see then.

Anyways, I've moved to Bearshare. It's mutch better than the crappy limewire.
