Unhappy deleted files help please !

I have just deleted files in my library in limewire, when i did that the original files in the operating system disappeared ! I looked in the trash b ut they aren't there , this can't be true !
please help !

Ouch

Are you using OSX? If you used the Library's Delete Button, then those files are gone (yeah--I once wrongly assumed they would just be moved to the trash).

However, the Library's "Stop Sharing" command just removes the files from the Library, and a search of the hard drive will find them again.

Default I did that to, but found them

if you are running windows xp you can try this and see if it helps: in limewire go to tools-options-sharing look at the corect adress that you have for sharing files. then in windos go to start run and type in the adress. if the adress starts with c:\documentsandsettings then just type that in and browse through to see if you can find your files, I hope that helps thats what i did. GOOD LUCK!
