Im so lost

Im new to lime wire....I used to use kazaa....and you had the shared folder on your desktop, and you could play mp3 files through win-amp or some program like that...on lime wire it looks like you can only listin to music on the limewire player while lime wire is open and I can;t have the internet on all the time cuz im dial up... can you only keep your music files on lime-wire? I was wanting to put them in a (my music) file or something and then find a program I could play the music through... if someone could help me it would be much appresiated...

Works the same--only the shared folder is wherever you want it. Just search your hard drive for "Shared". If you have more questions, ask away and someone who know Windows (not me) will answer.
