![]() Hi, I have a lot (already) in my Library of incomplete. Is there a way to dump the lot all at once. I tried but only could select one at a time, which would take forever. Thanks! |

![]() However you can delete multiple files using the Library window if you wish. On a Mac, select the first one, hold down the SHIFT key & select (click onto) the others. Then press the delete button, you will be asked are you sure & you press yes. I'm not sure about on a pc, but I'd suggest it'd be similar. I'm not sure which key it is for a pc (if you have a SHIFT key then it'll probably be that one.) Personally I'd prefer to do it this way until somebody advises me it's not good to do it this way. Otherwise why is the delete button there in the first case. So at least you have two options. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; July 7th, 2004 at 01:43 AM. |

![]() Sure, but by deleting the entire content of the incompletes thru the Finder, you make sure that you also delete .dat and .bak (even though I think that at least .dat can also be deleted via the Library). Anyway, what Lord has pointed out is true for most Mac apps: in a list, if you select one file and then select another while at the same time pressing Shift also selects all the files that are in between the two. Now, I'm not sure if it is true for LW, but in iTunes at least, if you want to select two songs that are distant without selecting what's in between them, then clicking one song then clicking the other(s) while holding down the Command (=apple) key will do the job. Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's the same thing with PCs, although instead of the Command key (since it doesn't exist on PCs) you press Ctrl. IF my memory serves me right that is.
