Still can't play avi files

I can't view any avi files these are not Divx extension as well. No idea whats wrong. could someone help..

Hi!

If you're getting a message indicating that you don't have the right codec to play the file, check out the link below. It will tell you how to find what codec you need, so then you can download the appropriate codec, reboot your PC and then BOOM... you can play it.
