I don't think downloading with matters at all Mac matters to the RIAA/MPAA at all. They will say that regardless of the method, obtaining copyrighted material without paying for it is illegal, and those who choose to "illegally" obtain this material should be prosecuted to the very fullest extent of the law. (I do not agree with this, and I think that the RIAA/MPAA and the artists that ascociate themselves with them are complete f uck-offs. (Just my opinion)). If you don't share than the chance of you getting caught is even lower than the already miniscule chance of anyone of us getting caught. I don't think any firewall can completly coverup your IP (Internet Protocol) address, but if you don't share than they can only catch you uploading. Since there are so many people who are not firewalled and share thousands of copyrighted files the RIAA will go after them first. My advise: to make a long explanation short; don't worry about it. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm not sure what the RIAA conseders a large number of donwloads, I'm not even sure that it even matters to them. You should Google it; see what you come up with. If you are afraid of the RIAA either buy CD's or use a client that requires you to pay for the download. Good luck.
