SBT but your location says Paris, France - and having lived both in Pais and Athens - many years ago, I prefer Athens for the views but Paris for the cooler summers.

I love Greece for it's beaches and seas (wherever they are clean). You don't get that in Paris (what's up with that weird Paris Plage craziness? Bleh, or, as the french would put it: "Beurk") and it's only a short way to the Beach from Athens... And I miss the sea...

Sorry, I would probably NOT swim in the harbour at Piraeus any more than I would in the Seine, now some of the Greek Islands Mykonos par example THAT I can appreciate.

No, not there: it's too touristy (unless you enjoy spending your after-midnight drunkenly jumping around to a soundtrack). Virtually any other island will do.
