You didn't tell me if you were trying to export the songs from the shared folder in LW's Library or nor, but oh well. Go to Tools, Options (Limewire, Preferences/Options for Macintosh) then click saving. You'll see displayed the location of the Shared folder that Limewire uses to save all finished dlds. Now go there (according to Raaf, it should be at C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared, unless you chose another folder when installing LW for the first time) and just drag-and-drop any files you want (re)moved.

What player did you use to view the video? Limewire? My brain either does not function properly at the moment or I simply have never encountered what you described. Primo: Does this happen with all video or just with that one? Secundo: Have you tried different players? My first guess would be the classic "codecs" (or, more precisely, "lack of codecs") problem. So, wait for someone to come here and give you a link to the nimo pack...

We'd both say it's ugly. But then I'm a mac man anyway. hehehe But the probs with wmp is the extra codecs & licencing for some of its files. If you're curious about another player I've heard raves about & that will also play wma files. Try this: Have a look at this. (click on link) It's free. U may/not want to try it out but if u do & like it, might be a good idea to make that your default player. |
