Delete Files Right now I'm trying to delete a movie file...But it says "unable to delete, may be in use in another application..." I just X-ed out and deleted it. Does that mean I permenatly delete it from my computer files? |

For problems deleting files see this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=25138 If you deleted it out that way then chances are it is off your computer. Just check your bins to be sure. The oonly way to get it back would be to use a file retrieval utility. Even though u delete a file, the computer still has a skeleton on the HDD. This could be retrieved if that area of the HDD is not overwritten. So if u did want to recover/unerase the file, you would need to use one of those types of utilites asap afterwards. Hope this answers your question. |

If you've deleted files thru the LW Lib window. The choices I'm aware of are to dwnld again or use a file/disk utility to recover the file(s) before that area of the HDD is overwritten. |
