Exclamation Delete Files

Right now I'm trying to delete a movie file...But it says "unable to delete, may be in use in another application..."

I just X-ed out and deleted it. Does that mean I permenatly delete it from my computer files?

For problems deleting files see this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=25138

If you deleted it out that way then chances are it is off your computer. Just check your bins to be sure. The oonly way to get it back would be to use a file retrieval utility. Even though u delete a file, the computer still has a skeleton on the HDD. This could be retrieved if that area of the HDD is not overwritten. So if u did want to recover/unerase the file, you would need to use one of those types of utilites asap afterwards. Hope this answers your question.

Is your media player open? If so close it and try it again, if this doesn´t work open an other video now it should work!

If I delete something does that mean that the only way to get it back is to do a search and download it again or is there a way to see everything I have ever downloaded?

I don't know the answer to this one!

If you've deleted files thru the LW Lib window. The choices I'm aware of are to dwnld again or use a file/disk utility to recover the file(s) before that area of the HDD is overwritten.

Yes, after you delete a file these are your only options... so think twice BEFORE you delete it!
