murasame most ext hdd's for mac are firewire. If you have a g4 I wouldn't go usb, the usb cards in g4's were very, very slow (12 MBit/s.) HDD's where I am have certainly been coming down in price over the past couple yrs.

I think I get what air port means in relation with a mac....
and now thanks I know I should get firewire cause dam 12 mb'spersec is slow.

I know my friend, I know. The only USB stuff I have are the keyboard, the mouse and a MIDI keyboard I use sometimes.
