saving as Limewire document? Since I've downloaded the Limewire update, anything I download is being saved as a Limewire document rather than an mp3. I've re-downloaded Limewire, matched all the configs to my friend's, and still am unable to download anything successfully. |
Somehow, the link above got messed up or corrupted (weird, huh?). So, here's another one, and hopefully this one will work. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...&threadid=2733 |
After pasting this address correctly, it appears different when I view the post. I am thinking that the forum is trying to execute some kind of "auto-correct" that is not exactly being helpful in this situation. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/ showthread.php?s=&threadid=2733 type both of these lines into your web browser, and you should be able to view the page. |

I guess it works with everybody else but me. I always get a 404 error. Fun stuff. Oh well. Thanks for explaining. :-) |
Here's a solution. Rather than downloading another application, I followed the directions of one of the posts in the link provided. All I did was rename two movie files with ".mpg" at the end, and one immediately changed to a Quicktime document and the other remained as a file, but was still playable through Quicktime. Try that. |
Very cool! Hopefully, others who are also having this problem can use this alternative solution. :-) |
