Peerless ponted you to the official LW site so if you're a pro user all you need to do is go to the pro section & enter your details (you should already have a personal page if you are a pro user so you can redwnld/updae any time.) As far as scanning for viruses go. For windows you should always do it! Particularly after your previous experience. If you have doubts about an official dwnld site then scan those files 1st as well. You should scan everything that enters your computer - otherwise you're looking for more probs. It might be a ''pain'' to wait for it to do this but it's always better to be on the safe side. It annoys some peiole doing this but play it safe always.

virus protection

OK this may be a repeat post, because I thought I posted this reply yesterday, but now cant find it.

SO if this is a repeat, please excuse me

Lord thankyou, I downloaded the Lime, because I trust you, without scanning it
(and because I am dumb and it would have taken many a night to figure out how to scan the softeware for viruses)

Ok Now i want to download music.

How do I scan the music files with Norton or Zone Alarm firewall
before i download them-(or after i dont know the procedure)

and make sure I dont infect myself with these music files?

hi I know this is fustrating cause its so obvious, but i really have no clue

can u tell me in detail what buttons and tabs to clickon NOrton to scan a (non mp3) file for virus?

I 'm afraid to press the wrong button and wreck it's auto configuration- or whatever

OK thank you . I printed out all the information you gave me about scanning- Ill try to figure it out(and fail) but thank you for your patience, and helping me.

I dont know if this is the place to ask this..

Im using Limewire Pro. Is it suposed to have only a fraction of the search results that regular Lime wire has?

For example I got no results for the band edited on pro, but with regular I got hundreds

jemmiffer September 26th, 2004 06:38 PM

stupid me

Hi yes I tried again and i got hundreds of results- weird
its kind of like throwing the dice, me and computers

yeah edited is a alternitive band, though its not "guitars" i guess its called electronica, You should try them they're different
what do u listen to?

Also since I never figured out how to play wondows media in the playlist fashion ,
could you tell me how to do it with lime player?
Mabye this time ill be lucky

thank you for all your help. Is this your job(helping people), or is it just that music sharing is something you feel very dedicated to?
Its something i am so happy about
