to keep incomplete downloads My OS is Windows ME, my computer is a Pentium III 1 ghz, my internet connection is T3. I use to share about 3000 files. I do not know if this is a bug, but my problem is the following: Every time I start my computer I have to re-launch all my incomplete downloads starting from 0% because Limewire loses the memory of my previous personal set up. Be known that I want to save, as I did with the previous revisions, in a folder located in the driver D to avoid to overload C. So I set up to saving in D:\My shared Folder and, sistematically, every time I restart the computer, the software chooses C:\Programs\Limewire\Lime Wire 4.0.8 and all my current downloads are disconnetted. Therefore I loose what I had already done. Can you help me to understand which is the problem? Is this aapeculiarity of the rev. 4.0.8? Should I give up to this type of choise differently than I did with the previous revisions? Thanks a lot for your support |
D driver is an additional bigger drive which I use to fill in with archives only, that's why it is my preferred shared folder. It seems that LW works essentially with C and it is hard to make it to work with D. I really do not understand. I repeat, it happens since I downloaded the releaese 4.0.8. It has never occurred with the previous releases. |
