Names of Downloads not appearing? Hello, After I've done a search and the songs come up. I don't get the names of the artists or song titles. I get speed, quality, chat and others but not names. I did at one time. Is there something I can change in prefences or on the moniter to enable this? John |
Find and delete the preferences folder in your HD. |
Oh, I forgot to ask: do you see the Name column but your comp doesn't show the names anymore, or you can't see the Namo column altogether. In the first case, trashing Preferences might work, while in the second, it almost surely will work, but it's better (and far less of a hassle) to just Right-click on a column and tick the Name box if it is unticked (if it's ticked, untick then retick again) |
Trashed Preferences Hey, I trashed the preferences and restarted. It worked! Thanks, John |
I'm glad to hear that. Moved the thread to a more appropriate section... |
Rather than suggesting to people to trash the prefs, a safer option is to right-click on the column headers in whatever table is wrong and choose 'Revert to Default'. That way you can keep whatever preferences you had set for other things. |
I did that in the second post but I must have been too late... |
