I dl limewire about an hour ago,cuz i read it was adware free. I decided to test it i ran pestpatrol n it found about 43 pest..from limewire i ignored it counter strike online n my ping was way higher than useal i lagged..so i decided to uninstall it n run pestpatrol again n deleted the pest. installed aqualime(iknow its old) but everything went back to normal...i installed n unintalled limewire acouple of time i even tried the pro version n found the same results...if u dont believe me dl pestpatrol corp edition it can be found on limewire..so it this brings me back to my question is limewire really adware free pro or not??

Just for a moment ignore your pest control, open LW Pro & tell me where you see ads? I believe the Shopping section (which has been deleted in the betas) may be construed as ad in some ways (on windows only.) But if you're disappointed you can't find any ads, what types of ads would you like to be added to a custom version for yourself? lol

Pestpartol sucks. It has false positive with any P2P app. Try adaware or spybot which are true anti spyware tools, not "I found more spywares and adwares than you" tools like pestpatrol.

not true pestpatrol doesnt suck...if limewire is adware free..than y does it slow my internet down when i play cs (counter strike) but aqualime doesnt???yes i have the pro version im giving it away cuz i dont like it waste of money so let me know if u want it

May I suggest you update your Java. Also check your overall system. There's a high chance that your Search & Destroy utility has deleted some essential Windows support files. See the links below to see what I mean.

Many people who use a mac are well aware that using out of date or poorly written utilities can do much more damage to your system than good. Same principle applies here.

Search & Destroy will find anything anywhere to make you believe your money was well spent. It does not like any p2p app. May I recommend you get a TRUE utility for the purpose instead of using one that gives you inaccurate & false reports. But if you're 'so' SOLD with S & D & are blind to it's problems. So be it. Do elsewhat or whatever.

You could always TRY the LW beta Pro 4.1.7 which has many improvements. It's great!
