Default Need help running downloaded games

Hi,

well to start I'd like to say I'm very pleased with limewire, but I always have a problem running games. when i try to play them they say they have missing files, so I just download them too and ad them in and thats fine. But when I have all the files I need, the console comes up and says "cannot load default.cfg" and then it closes. I here that downloading exe files eliminate this but I don't want to cause it could break my comp down the middle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

you better search for .rar or .zip files they are usually complete.
But do a virus scan before opening.

Your downloaded rar and zip don't work....
You know how to handle those files properly ? first unpack read all the text and nfo files and then install.
It could be bogus files you had so far, I don't know if they exist for games but they sure do for music and video.
To avoid bogus files make sure you download a file with a reasonable size.

About .exe files,
Not all of them are infected and actually it's the same for zip and rar .

So it's important to have a good and updated virusscanner if your into game downloading.
If you have doubts about the one you have I can reccomend AVAST it's free and good

If you want to be more specific on what you downloaded do it in a PM to me.
