Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. Banning is reserved for very severe offenses and members who, after many warnings, fail to comply with the House Rules. Banning is permanent. Bans cannot be removed by the moderators and probably won't be removed by the administration. The Rules 1. Warez, copyright violation, or any other illegal activity may NOT be linked or expressed in any form. Topics discussing techniques for violating these laws and messages containing locations of web sites or other servers hosting illegal content will be silently removed. Multiple offenses will result in consequences. File names are not required to discuss your issues. If filenames are copyright then do not belong on these forums & will be edited out or post removed. If your post is placed in the wrong forum it will be moved by a moderator. There are specific Gnutella Client sections for LimeWire, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, Morpheus, and many more. Please choose the correct section for your problem. 7. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Keep in mind a forum censor may temporarily automatically hold up your post, if you do not see your post, do not post again, it will be dealt with by a moderator within a reasonable time. Authors of multiple copies of same post may be dealt with by moderators within their discrete judgment at the time which may result in warning or infraction points, depending on severity as adjudged by the moderators online. 10. Posts should have descriptive topics. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Supplying system details is a prerequisite in most cases, particularly with connection or installation issues. Violation of any of these rules will bring consequences, determined on a case-by-case basis. Thank You! Thanks for taking the time to read these forum guidelines. What you don't say (explicitely from the start) is that you convert things: movies to dvd-format, music to music-CD format. If you just make a data disc it won't work. But it's still good to point that out Please PLEASE try using punctuation in the future. I beg of you.

erm how and when did i say anything about data burning i was talking about burning of onto a music cd>,< i c alot of ppl aking why they cany play music cuz of missing codecs and asking 4 help on this matter, its alot easyer to burn ofF the music file and play it on ur media player than looking 4 codecs.i even read a post about ppl having 2 or more players so they could play music files,id rather just burn tham of and play them that way its so much better>,< plus its saves on harddrive space.... so i think my point is better than any other help that has been given about silly downloads of codec files that just fill up ur pc with more crap, and at the end of the day most ppl burn there music off on to a cd to play on a cd player, how many ppl have dekleted a music/dvd file cuz they couldnt get it to work when all they have to do is burnt it of easy as and as for u pointing out me not using punctuation this is a forum not a cv for a job or a offical letter, but if it makes u happy theres r for the ones i missed out ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,........................................... ..........""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""",,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,..................................,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,........................ |

... A)You never mentioned anything about data disc burning (and I never said you did) but you also mentioned nada about music CD burning (in the end of you post you say something about converting and burning to DVD. B)Ever heard of mp3 players? No? Well they allow you to play music that is on your comp without having to do stuff like burn onto a music CD. Music CDs take up waaaaaaaaay more space than a data disc since where you can fit 1 CD in a music CD, a data disc takes more than 4. Plus, mp3 CD players can play both formats so if you make a data CD to archive the songs and make some free space in your comp, you can still play the songs and economize some space and money. Furthermore, mp3 CDplayers or simple mp3 players are not expensive and come in all forms (small, big, etc, etc). Plus, current DVD players can also play mp3 so if you got one connected to the hifi or whoteva, you can still play your songs. C)i take the time and use punctuation because not everyone in the forums is american or english or even australian (whoteva i mean anlgophone) and they might not understand unless its written in a more grammatically proper maner you see it can be annoying for them to try and decipher an incoherent post that might contain the solution they are looking for oh and here are the punctuations i missed :,,:.

GRANDMASTER: I can burn my mp3's to dvd (imagine that, 6-7 CD's on one disk of mp3's.) And they play happily on my dvd player with menus etc. I must say though GRANDMASTER, viewing thru your posts you don't have a very good writing record. At least one post/thread has been deleted for totally ignoring forum rules. More than one other edited for the same reasons! Read the forum rules. Take this as a warning. The swordmaster will no doubt agree! |

The Comment about the dvd was just a side note. The point I'm making is about you reading the forum rules before you post. Check out your language & what you discuss. Read the rules & you'll know what I'm talking about. Every forum has rules. They're listed at the top of every section of this forum. Did you miss them or something before you anxiously pressed that New Thread button. You've been around the forum sections & yet you've still ignored the forum rules. Your posts are in more than one section. Simple ... read the rules before posting. Is that hard to understand? |
